Movement Workshop

December 19, 2021, 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm

A movement workshop at Transformer Station lead by FRONT Fellow at the Cleveland Public Library, Ron'Dale Simpson.

This movement workshop explores elements of African and Western dance styles, hip hop, modern, and HBCU dance styles. Participants will engage in full-bodied physical movement while developing confidence and subtle intricacies for a variety of styles. Participants will learn progressions across the floor and choreography that encourages full self expression.

No prior dance experience is necessary, we welcome all levels of interest and experience!

Due to potentially snowy or rainy weather, please plan to bring a dry pair of socks and shoes for the workshop, as well as a water bottle.
