Painting the Possible: Art as Community Builder

June 19, 2019, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Our environment and our surroundings shape who we are as individuals. They influence our collective identity. Public art is one way to brighten our surroundings and infuse beauty into the everyday world. How has public art improved your environment? How can we work together to expand public art around us?

Join us for a free meal and conversation to discuss public art’s role in influencing Cleveland’s environment and its residents and the ways that public art could serve as inspiration, therapy, and opportunity for Cleveland’s neighborhoods. Conversation leaders from FRONT International and Transformer Station help us to explore how Cleveland’s art renaissance has impacted our community and to discuss future public art opportunities.
